John and Christine Messerschmidt are a husband-wife team with a combined 22 years serving as financial representatives with Thrivent Financial. They work with clients to help them become financially secure through all phases of life. They are passionate about helping people be wise with money so they can live more content, confident, and generous lives. John and Christine are parents to three children in college and live in Barrington. Christine grew up in Glenview and attended St. Philip when she was a child (her maiden name is Szillat).
John has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Valparaiso University, a Master of Arts from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University. Christine has a Bachelor of Arts degree from DePauw University and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University. John has been named a “Five Star Wealth Advisor” by Chicago magazine for 8 years in a row.
